How To Remove Mold From A Wood Boat

linemen of the Indre: Troubleshooting an old underground cable Hta

Photo Reportage Thomas whom I thank.
(commentary added by me, if error, do not hesitate to correct me!) "Oh Yes! Uh, sorry! Let!" :)

PILC cables ('Paper Insulated Lead Covered') are no longer manufactured but many
of them are still in service. Degradation of insulating paper gives an indication of their remaining life. Our experts (Laborelec) measure the degree of polymerization and the water content of the insulating paper, two important parameters. The acidity is also measured and the insulation is inspected visually for the presence of gas bubbles. One last important test is to analyze
oil impregnated paper insulation.
